Privacy notice

Last updated 13 October 2026

This notice explains how BlackTier Ltd handles personal data in connection with this website, our enquiries address and the BlackTier platform. BlackTier Ltd is the data controller for this website and for enquiries made to us. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16737510.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking. We do not collect personal data from visitors to it.

The site is hosted by Vercel and its typefaces are served by Google Fonts. When you load the site your browser sends your IP address and standard request details to those providers, which they process as our service providers under their own terms. We do not receive or retain this information.

Enquiries

If you write to enquiries@blacktier.co.uk we hold your name, contact details and the content of your message so that we can reply and, where appropriate, assess your request for access. We keep correspondence for as long as we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, after which it is deleted. The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to you, and, where access is granted, the steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement.

The BlackTier platform

The BlackTier platform, including Constant, Codex and our mobile applications, is provided to client organisations under a written agreement. That agreement sets out what data is processed on the platform, for what purpose and on whose behalf. Within the platform, the client organisation determines the purposes of processing for the data it brings and generates, and BlackTier Ltd acts on its instructions. Individuals who use the platform through a client organisation should direct questions about their personal data to that organisation in the first instance; we will assist it in responding.

Where BlackTier Ltd is itself the controller, for example for account credentials and usage records needed to operate and secure the service, we process that data to provide the service, keep it secure and meet our legal obligations, and we keep it for the life of the account plus the period required by law.

Sharing and location

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who host or support the service under contract, and where the law requires. Data is stored in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data elsewhere, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy regulation.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or object to our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@blacktier.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the latest version above.
